Lake Texoma Association Presents: 21st Annual Bash For Cash!

The Lake Texoma Association gives our beautiful lake a voice. This group of individuals are spread across three states and work with area Chambers, Congress members, the Corp and many others to ensure that Lake Texoma remains the incredible recreational and business area it is today. Join the LTA Thursday, August 9th at the 21st Annual Bash For Cash, benefitting the interests of our lake.

While you're there you can enjoy a variety of entertainment, raffles, door prizes, auctions, and the Smashin' Bash Buffet!

Prizes include: Fishing Trips, Lake Wear, Dinners, Lake Lodge Trips and more!

Tickets are available at the Lake Texoma Association office for $45 and they will be available at the door for $50.

MAD ROCK's Third Annual Burnin' Asphalt Fun Run
Benefiting the Grayson County Children's Advocacy Center

July 12, 2012 - Lake Texoma; Denison, Texas - If you're ready to have some fun while also making an important contribution to a worthy cause, MAD ROCK is proud to announce the third annual "Burnin' Asphalt Fun Run" event. Taking place on August 25th 2012, the event is being presented by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance and sponsored by Texoma Harley Davidson, Sherman. Benefits are slated for the Grayson County Children's Advocacy Center.

The run will kick off with registration starting at 8:00 am at Texoma Harley Davidson. This will be followed with the first bike out at 10:00 am and the last bike out at 11:00 am. Stops will be made at Cedar Mills Marina, Little Mineral Marina, Mill Creek Marina and Caney Creek Beer Garden. Bikes should arrive at their final destination at Grandpappy's by 3:00 pm.

All participants will be given a map and an official Fun Run card sheet during check-in complete with a list of locations and addresses of the official Fun Run stops. When arriving at the stop, each participant must throw a dart at a custom dart board to determine their specific card designation. Participants are also required to visit each stop where an official will be on hand to initial and mark the participant's card sheet to indicate the card awarded.

Entry fee for the run is $20.00 per person and $10.00 for each additional hand. Adding to the fun and festivities, raffle tickets will be sold at the very start of the race for a chance to win various prizes all of which will be awarded between 4-5 pm at Grandpappy's. Participants must turn in all completed card sheets at the final destination by 3:00 p.m. the day of the event in order to be eligible for prizes. Prizes will include: The Best Hand grand prize of $1,025, which will be awarded to the participant with the highest hand. Five card designations will be used to build a hand. The Worst Hand prize will be awarded $102.50 and will be presented to the participant with the lowest hand. No 'wild' cards are allowed for either of the hands.
